Led by founder Rich Schefren, Strategic Profits has helped shape the way entrepreneurs build, market, and scale online for the past two decades.
Today, Strategic Profits gives entrepreneurs the strategy, systems, and A.I. capabilities they need to turn the breakthroughs reshaping business into dramatic growth.
That work is backed by a 25-year record of seeing what breakthroughs were next, installing them early, and helping entrepreneurs capitalize before the rest of the market caught up.
Rich coached and advised Russell Brunson, Ryan Deiss, Todd Brown, Jeff Walker, Frank Kern, Mike Filsaime, and many others who went on to shape the online business industry over the last 20 years.
His strategies have been credited with contributing more than $15 billion in sales growth across his clients’ businesses, earning him the name “Guru to the Gurus.”
Rich is widely recognized as an Internet marketing pioneer and one of the world’s top experts on online business strategy, who’s:
Rich founded Strategic Profits in 2004 and since then, the company has been on a mission to turn struggling opportunity seekers into profitable entrepreneurs.
Rich founded Strategic Profits and created one of the first structured online business coaching programs, combining video lessons, live calls, and strategic guidance in a model that helped launch an industry.
The report introduced the distinction between the Opportunity Seeker, who moved from tactic to tactic, and the Strategic Entrepreneur, who developed the systems, capabilities, and team required to build something that could grow.
It generated $3.5 million in the two months following its release and reached 5 million downloads — launching the next wave of online business owners we know today.
Its influence can still be seen in the businesses and careers it helped shape.
Strategic Profits pioneered the freemium model and the first e-learning drip platform. The company became the first to livestream an event and later hosted the first 24-hour livestream.
Rich introduced the Video Sales Letter to Agora and contributed strategies credited with helping the company grow from approximately $220 million to more than $1.25 billion. He also created the automated webinar, which remains widely used throughout online business.
In The Attention Age Doctrine, Rich predicted that information would become abundant, attention would become scarce, and power would shift from companies to consumers. The entrepreneurs who understood that shift early built for the market that was coming.
Four years before ChatGPT was released to the public, Rich stood onstage at the Marketing Funnel Automation event and told the room:
In the 21st century we will automate intelligence.”
Then he put a year on the economic shift he believed it would create:
More money will be made in the next six or seven years, 2025, than the entire history of human civilization.”
He called the year from the stage. In 2025, A.I. changed what Rich could build inside Strategic Profits.
Rich had spent his career seeing more possibilities than he could personally execute. Every program required a team, technical talent, and a long chain of handoffs before the idea could reach a customer.
A.I. joined Rich throughout the development of his first A.I. program. It helped him think through the program, create the assets, shape the delivery, and develop the marketing. By the time the program launched, Rich had trouble drawing a clean line between what he built and what A.I. helped him build.
The launch generated $2.2 million, making it the biggest product launch of his career.
A.I. gave Rich a way to carry more of his judgment from idea to execution, with less lost between what he saw and what ultimately reached the market.
That experience became the bridge to the next Strategic Profits manifesto.
Twenty years after The Internet Business Manifesto, Strategic Profits published The A.I. Business Manifesto in July of 2026.
The original manifesto gave entrepreneurs a way to stop chasing tactics and build a business capable of compounding. The new manifesto explains why adding A.I. to familiar tasks produces more activity while leaving the business itself unchanged.
Rich shows entrepreneurs how to give A.I. the context and judgment required to do consequential work, connect it across the business, and redesign the company around capabilities that were impossible only a few years ago.
The entrepreneur’s experience, standards, decisions, and way of seeing can now become an Imprint, built one decision at a time and carried into the work happening across the company.
Strategic Profits continues to help entrepreneurs understand what the latest breakthrough changes and build around what it makes possible.
In the A.I. age, that means helping entrepreneurs capture their judgment, connect A.I. across the business, and develop capabilities that produce better decisions, stronger execution, and greater growth.
Strategic Profits brings the same ability to the A.I. revolution that it brought to every major shift before it: seeing the opportunity early and helping entrepreneurs build around it.
